Sensational Shugborough

Each summer two spectacular outdoor concerts are held at Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire - and 2007 is no exception. The first is a rock and pop tribute night. The second - a last night of the proms event with the City Concert Orchestra conducted by Adrian Jackson. Once again Angela Rippon will be hosting the Proms night which includes a flypast by a World War 2 Spitfire and a spectacular fireworks finale.

This year's Music and Fireworks weekend at Shugborough Hall is on the 3rd and 4th of August . In this Podcast we go behind the scenes to talk to Spitfire pilot Rod Dean and the Conductor of the City Concert Orchestra Adrian Jackson to find out how it's all done! And don't miss Mrs Stearn in episode 2 !
