Overview

This animation project was commissioned by Penknife Integrated Marketing for their client BRE. They required a two minute video to explain Bre Smartsite - a software solution for builders and developers to manage their projects  across the board - from materials and on site health and safety to disposing of waste.  We were required to make two versions - one with Chinese subtitles (the translations were provided by the client).  

Shoot and edit

Penknife Design storyboarded the video with their client and provided us with a script and layered artwork to tie in with the website they had designed for the project. We used Jane Markham - our in house voiceover and sourced music and sfx to create the soundtrack. 

Tech and spec

We  work with Adobe Creative Cloud for all our projects and on this occasion used Illustator, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition and Premier Pro to create the animation - taking advantage of the integration between the Adobe programs on the Creative Cloud. The finished video was embedded on  www.bresmartsite.com. 

Relationship with the client

We have worked with Penknife Integrated Marketing over a number of years providing videos and animation for their projects. As well as BRE we've worked with them on projects for Amdocs and Audatex.
