Overview

This video is part of a series produced for sustainable holiday booking platform, Yonder. The purpose is to showcase the ethos and mission of Yonder through individual accommodation providers. Rather than simply being a clipshow of pretty pictures of bedrooms and scenery, each video tells the story of a family and how they prioritise the environment where they live and work.

Hoe Grange Holidays are based in Derbyshire and provide sustainable accommodation for guests looking to enjoy the Peak District. They specialise in providing accessible accommodation and equipment to make the countryside enjoyable for all.

Shoot and edit

Our producer Jenny visited each location and worked with the hosts to discover their story. When it came to shoot day we had to be quite flexible as we needed to film the locations in the best light and not in the pouring rain! 

Being interviewed in front of a camera can be quite daunting for some, but we make sure that all of our participants are made to feel comfortable, allowing for an easy conversation between interviewer and interviewee.

The videos were mostly shot on a single camera and drones were used where appropriate.
